Free Telecom, an Israeli initiative founded by Lior Banay (CEO) and Eran Shalev (COO), is in the midst of a transfer of passage: from the process of a marketing trial to the process of becoming a true mobile communications provider with country wide service. Free Telecom submitted a request to the Ministry of Communication for a commercial license, and informed the ministry of their ability to withstand the binding criteria set by the draft documents of the MVNO hearing in Israel (that has not yet been finalized). Simultaneously, Free Telecom has created an RFP for completion of the missing elements in its network to advance from the state of a marketing trial to the format of a full mobile communication provider: especially the HLR components, Media Gateways and an international Roaming service.
The rest of the mobile communications provider elements are working and running at Free Telecom, and the network already has thousands of paying customers that signed up mainly through the company portal, for an easy and user friendly CRM, Billing and Provisioning system, built by MTS...The SMS systems work on a platform created by Cellact. |
