I do not receive SMS messages when the app is not open on the device

In some Huawei models (and some LG and Xiaomi devices), you need to add the Num2 app to the list of applications allowed to run in the background when the device activates a battery-saving mode, in order to receive notifications while the application is closed. While the device manufacturer automatically adds world-known apps (like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Google Mail), other applets (including the Num2 app) need to be added manually.For Huawei devices go to Device Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Battery Manager >> Protected Applications.
